Alyse Carlson is a practicing pediatrician, poet, and a student in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Quarterly Review and is forthcoming in The Georgia Review, Consequence and Beloit Poetry Journal. She lives with her family in Spokane, Washington.
